La detención del ex primer ministro libio está desvelando sorpresas que dejan estupefactos a los ciudadanos de este país y que debe llamar la atención de la comunidad internacional que en vez de perseguir con saña al hijo de Gadafi, Saif al Islam, debe mirar con más atención a dirigentes y grupos que no actúan bajo la legalidad y cuyos escrúpulos han desaparecido en el instante en que ceden a los más bajos instintos.

Dicho plan consistía en conseguir que un hijo de Gadafi, refugiado en Níger, tras la caída de su padre, fuera capturado y entregado a un grupo de yihadistas, para que ellos decidieran sobre su vida, para evitar de este modo que se le atribuyera a su gobierno este sucio acto.
Para ello usando los fondos públicos que venían del petróleo, este mandatario, auxiliado por el cónsul de Libia en Níger, supuestamente compró las voluntades del ministro de Asuntos Exteriores y del presidente, los cuales, tras recibir presuntamente 17 millones de dólares, facilitaron que ese hijo de Gadafi fuera entregado a un grupo yihadista, desconociéndose el destino final del mismo.
La detención de Zeidan ha sido recibida con alegría por muchos ciudadanos libios, los cuales no guardan buen recuerdo de este mandatario y muchos partidarios de la familia Gadafi, especialmente Saif al Islam esperan que se haga justicia y que se llegue al final de este tenebroso asunto.
Algunos portavoces del movimiento ‘verde’ quieren que el Tribunal Penal Internacional actúe con la misma contundencia que lo hizo con su líder, que lo haga con este ex mandatario, con la diferencia que Saif al Islam no era culpable de los cargos que se le imputaban, pero en este caso las evidencias son abrumadoras.
